My name is Rose Sierer. I graduated from Murray High school in March 2007, where my main areas of study were childcare and child development courses. I received the Utah Skills Certificates in both classes and began working at a local daycare center. Prior to the daycare center, I helped care for children in my mom’s care. My mom tended groups of children the whole time I was in Elementary and Junior High. At the daycare I learned the state rules and regulations and began attending infant and toddler care classes. Later that I year I began working at a smaller, more personal childcare facility as a teacher working with infants and toddlers. I also continued taking the infant and toddler care classes. By the end of 2008 I completed the course.

I am now going to care for children, ages 6 weeks thru 3 yrs years old in my apartment. I am doing this because I want to be able to spend more one on one time with the children and understand the need for a reliable sitter. This is because I have learned that for the first three years of a child’s life, it is important for them to feel secure. The Aparment complex I live in is very kid friendly with tot lots and playgrounds all through out the property. I plan on two outside times one in the morning and one after snack in the afternoon"weather permitting". I am not a daycare provider as you are not allowed to run a daycare from an apartment I am a full time Babysitter. I have the knowledge of a daycare provider as I have worked as one and continue to stay current with the regulations for child safty.

I believe that learning through play using their senses are key ingredients for children to learn about their world. This begins at birth. With this in mind, I will create activities and art that will use the five senses to help them have fun and learn. Through play you can teach young children a number of things and I strive to do just that.

As I am not a daycare provider rather fulltime babysitter I am able to adjust the rate according to the families situation. As such I do have a price guide that I can be flexible with if the need arises/

All day care is $5.00 a day.
Fulltime price $25.00 a week.
Four days a week $20.00
Three days a week $15.00
Two days a week $ 10.00
